Nestled on the edge of the Cotswolds, in Gloucestershire, Cheltenham’s closest neighbour is the city of Gloucester, just down the A40, which also heads eastwards to Oxford. A little further afield the city is linked, via the M5, to Worcester to the north, and Bristol to the south west. The Great Western Railway line connects the city to London, with regular trains heading into Paddington Station, and CrossCountry Trains connects Cheltenham to the rest of the country. The city has good access to numerous international airports, including nearby Birmingham and Bristol airports.
