Bootle is a town in Merseyside, less than three miles from Liverpool. It was once a small hamlet but grew drastically in the 1800s, becoming what is now a town with a population over 51,000.

Thanks to its close proximity to Liverpool, Bootle has historically benefitted from its neighbouring city’s trading industry.
