The units are comprised of structural frames incorporating steel frameworks and portal frames supported on assumed reinforced concrete foundations. The external walls are a combination of cavity wall construction with clay facing brickwork and engineering brick laid to soldier course. Above the brickwork construction insulated profiled metal cladding panels. The units benefit from vehicular access is provided by steel lath roller shutter doors which are a combination of electrically and manually operated units.
Internally, the units provide light manufacturing and storage accommodation together with ancillary offices, welfare and sanitary facilities.
