The serviced office market is fragmented with a large number of operators, many of them with only one or two sites. Citibase concentrates on the town/city centre market, rather than out-of town locations and has over 650,000 sq. ft. under management. Citibase was formed in 1993, by David Joseph and Ian Read who had previously had experience of the sector whilst working in the serviced office operations at London & Edinburgh Trust PLC. The business was based from the outset around the concept of flexibility for small businesses and was launched at a time when the United Kingdom was beginning to emerge from a period of recession.

Rebecca joined the Citibase Team back in 2015 as Centre Administrator in the Flagship centre in Birmingham. She worked in Operations for over 4 years, gaining a wealth of knowledge on the operational running of the Flexible Office building. Following on from this, she wanted a new challenge within the Sales team and became Citibase’s Broker Channel Manager. Her main responsibility is nurturing the relationships with new and existing Broker and Agent partners – of which they have over 150! No two days are the same and her day-to-day ranges from regular reporting to arranging exciting events to showcase the Centres and what Citibase have to offer.
