Property facts for 60-100 Provan Walk, Glasgow
Glasgow Fort is one of the pre-eminent fashion-led parks in the UK, providing the vibrancy of a high street environment with the convenience of an out-of-town location.
Glasgow Fort was built in 2004 and comprises 90 leading shopping and leisure brands. It is anchored by an 80,000 sq ft Marks and Spencer with key occupiers including Next, Boots, New Look, Zara, Office, River Island, Mamas & Papas and H&M. Several brands have chosen Glasgow Fort as the location for their first out of town stores, including Superdry, Kiko Milano, Wahaca and Smiggle.
A leisure extension was completed in 2013 including an eight-screen Vue cinema, with 24,000 sq ft of restaurant space, and in 2015 a £33 million pound retail extension added the Marks and Spencer, a Fat Face and a Wagamama restaurant.
In 2016, Glasgow Fort opened a new car park with 600 additional spaces and a leisure quarter with four new restaurants. The building is naturally ventilated with a sustainable wooden slated rear façade, and a green 'living' canopy overhangs the restaurant units. It is themed around a wild forest with sculptural landscaping acting as a natural buffer between the car park and outdoor dining areas and incorporating natural play elements for children.
The flexibility of Glasgow Fort's design allows for a greater range of unit sizes, reflecting the needs of today's occupiers. Glasgow Fort is ranked as the top centre in its category in Scotland by CACI. It has a catchment of over 2 million people and an annual footfall of 14 million.
